SMS Consent Verification — LeadGuard

How callers provide consent:
When a customer calls LeadGuard’s toll-free number, they hear the following automated greeting and consent script:

“Thank you for calling LeadGuard. We help connect you with the best HVAC service in your area. By staying on the line and providing your information, you consent to receive a one-time SMS confirming your service request has been received. Please stay on the line while we ask you a few quick questions.”

The caller is then asked three questions (service type needed, emergency status, and callback number).

How consent is recorded: Each call and the caller’s responses are logged with a timestamp in LeadGuard’s secure call-routing system (Twilio) for compliance and record-keeping purposes.

Opt-out instructions: Customers may opt out of SMS communication at any time by replying STOP to any message received. Reply HELP for assistance.
